There isn’t always a one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to bracing. That is why we offer custom fitting at our OneBracing store. Our goal during our bracing assessment is to provide the best customer service to achieve the best outcome.
Custom knee bracing is tailored specifically for the mold of your knee. During the measurement process, our in-house bracing specialists will examine the knee based on the exact injury you have. Some of the considerations taken to account when measuring include length of brace dependent on your leg length, leg alignment, and the environment in which the brace will be worn. You may consider going custom is you have harder to fit legs or unique leg features. We also recommend custom bracing for severe injuries.
One of the biggest benefits of custom knee braces are that they are formulated to help deal with your specific knee injury.
Although the price of custom knee braces is high, the majority of insurance companies will cover, at least partially, your custom knee brace even if they don’t list it in your coverage details. If either your doctor or surgeon has recommended one, it is worth calling your provider so see if there is any coverage you can benefit from. Ossur ACL Rebound Indications: ACL The Rebound ACL is a dynamic ACL brace that can be integrated directly into current protocols, designed to reduce strain on the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). Ossur Rebound PCL Indications: PCL The Rebound PCL is designed to apply a physiologically correct, dynamic force, optimal for rehabilitation of posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) ruptures, during functional (non-surgical) or post-surgical rehabilitation. The Dynamic Tension System™ (DTS) is designed to facilitate healing by increasing the load on the tibia as the knee goes through flexion, and providing an anterior drawer force necessary to decrease load on the healing PCL.
